Hello! My name is Camille.

I am a first-year PhD student in the Comparative Human Development department at the University of Chicago. ****I am working with Dr. Marisa Casillas on how multilingual and multicultural households influence how children learn about socialization and identity through language.

I previously worked as the lab manager for Dr. Rebecca Saxe’s Social & Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience Lab in the Brain and Cognitive Sciences department of MIT.

I graduated from Wellesley College in 2023 as a double major in Cognitive and Linguistic Sciences & Spanish.

I am a proud child of immigrants and a lover of all things language and culture related!
